We offer the visually impaired educational programmes to achieve our aspiration of having ‎inclusive education.

Technology obviously plays a crucial role in higher education today. However, computers and other modern technology often remain inaccessible to the visually-impaired, particularly in Palestine.

Recognizing these accessibility issues, the University established a laboratory for the visually impaired to allow them to continue their educational program and to ensure that they benefit from the same technology as their classmates do.

The lab for the visually impaired contains computers equipped with screen reading and screen magnification software. It also contains special Braille-based screens, as well as a Braille printer that converts study curricula into Braille-based books and reading materials.

Enable the students with visual impairment to use the computers more easily than before and to allow them to continue their educational program.
