Citizen (H.S.) lives with her mother in a small, modest house in a village near Nablus. During the winter, due to harsh weather and because the house is located below a side street, a sudden collapse of the soil from the street caused the complete destruction of the kitchen and bathroom.

As the case was registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs, the citizen approached the Community Service Center for assistance. After hearing the details of the situation, the center’s team conducted an urgent field visit to the house to assess the damage.

The assessment revealed that reinforcing the back wall of the house was necessary before rebuilding the kitchen and bathroom. The village council was then involved to assist with reinforcing the street behind the house.

Coordination with the village council also led to the construction of a new kitchen and sanitary bathroom suitable for the family’s needs. The council expressed its appreciation for the program and the center, highlighting the speed and effectiveness of the intervention.
