• (T.S.) is a 23 year old young man who has been undergoing dialysis for more than ten years. His life had become limited to the hospital and his home, with no participation in social, recreational, or professional activities. The CSC became acquainted with him during visits to the hospital and began providing individual psychological counseling sessions. After several sessions, he was encouraged to attend one of the celebrations organized by the center. That experience marked a turning point. Soon after, he chose to become a regular volunteer in the center’s special programs. Within two months, he had grown more socially engaged and now actively contributes to community initiatives.
  • Another case involved an elderly woman, (S.Sh.), who suffers from severe memory loss that had placed her life at risk. She was frequently found wandering outside her home barefoot, wearing worn clothing, with disheveled hair, and suffering from hunger and dehydration. In coordination with the Directorate of Social Affairs and the Red Crescent Society, she was placed in a residential care home for the elderly. She now receives consistent medical and social care in a safe and supportive environment.
  • The third case concerns a 31 year old man, (A), from a village near Nablus, who had been confined for more than ten years in a small tin structure located in his family’s yard. He suffers from a mental health condition, and his family, fearing social stigma, refused to allow any organization to intervene. A concerned resident from the village informed the mobile center staff about the situation. After gathering information and verifying the case, the center presented the findings to the appropriate authorities. Through coordinated efforts with partner institutions and the police, the young man was safely released and referred to health authorities, where he finally received the medical treatment and care he had long been denied.
  • These cases reflect the importance of comprehensive health and social interventions in restoring dignity, safety, and opportunity to vulnerable individuals within the community.
