The CSC provided four modern living room sets and a household washing machine to several families facing difficult living conditions. This support came through in-kind donations from individuals who chose to make a direct and meaningful impact on the lives of others.
The assistance was carefully targeted based on detailed assessments of the most vulnerable cases. Beneficiaries included a widow supporting her children under challenging circumstances, a family with a non-mobile breadwinner, another caring for a child with a disability, a family experiencing severe social and financial pressures, and an elderly widow living with her disabled daughter.
The impact of this initiative went beyond material support. It brought a renewed sense of stability and comfort to these households, especially with the approach of Eid al-Fitr. Worn-out or empty spaces were transformed into welcoming and dignified living areas, allowing families to receive guests and regain a sense of normalcy and pride in their homes.
The CSC emphasized that this effort is part of a broader commitment to easing daily hardships for families in need and strengthening a culture of social solidarity. The center also expressed its appreciation for the donors whose contributions helped turn this initiative into a meaningful reality.
This initiative reflects An-Najah National University’s ongoing humanitarian mission to support vulnerable communities and translate values of compassion and solidarity into actions that create real, lasting impact.
