The CSC provided two washing machines to two families living in extremely difficult conditions, through kind support from donors in cooperation with the Al-Khair Volunteer Forum Committee.

The first family is headed by a widow who carries the full responsibility of supporting her household, including a son with a visual impairment and additional health complications, as well as a divorced daughter, which adds to their daily challenges. The second family is facing severe health and economic hardship, as the father suffers from a permanent disability following the amputation of both legs, the mother is undergoing cancer treatment, and their five children are affected by multiple chronic illnesses.

Although the assistance may appear modest, its impact was significant. The lack of functioning laundry appliances had forced both families into a daily struggle, relying on handwashing under physically demanding conditions. This added further stress in light of limited income and increasing financial pressures. The provision of washing machines helped restore a sense of dignity, stability, and relief in their daily lives.

This initiative reflects the CSC’s ongoing commitment to easing the burdens of vulnerable families and strengthening a culture of social solidarity. It also highlights the valuable role of the Charity Forum Committee and donors in transforming generosity into meaningful, practical support.

These efforts are part of the broader social mission of An-Najah National University, which continues to promote solidarity, address poverty, and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals through initiatives that create real and lasting impact on the lives of those most in need.
