Taher, a vibrant and intelligent 11-year-old, brought joy to the workers and volunteers at the CSC, as well as to everyone who shared his birthday with him. Taher, who is undergoing dialysis at An-Najah National Hospital, gave the participants far more smiles and happiness than they could offer through their time and efforts in the psychosocial support program for hospital patients.

This activity included sick children, their healthy friends, family members, and the medical and nursing staff of the dialysis unit. It stood out from the CSC’s other daily activities by focusing on bringing smiles to patients’ faces, easing the burden on medical staff, ensuring patients’ access to care, and helping to reduce the financial strain on families.

The event was organized in coordination with the Kidney Failure Patients Association. Dina Al-Qaddoumi, the program coordinator, expressed her delight with the activity, calling it a simple yet powerful example of what volunteers can accomplish. She extended her thanks to the nurses, doctors, and volunteers from the CSC and the Kidney Failure Patients Association for their dedication and support.
