Thirty-five university students cleaned the sidewalk along Lower Academy Street (Street 25), removing debris that had accumulated during the winter rains. They also cleared weeds growing along the sidewalk and collected all waste in garbage bags. This activity was carried out as part of their community service course. Students were divided into groups and assigned specific tasks to ensure the work was completed efficiently and effectively.

Volunteer work goes beyond cleaning itself. It plays an important role in encouraging students to engage in community service, develop their skills, and strengthen their sense of responsibility. Through these experiences, students build teamwork skills, enhance their personal growth, and develop a stronger sense of belonging, while becoming more motivated to participate in volunteer and charitable initiatives.
