The CSC organized a volunteer day with the participation of approximately 20 student volunteers dedicated to receiving and transporting 2,350 packs of sanitary pads for elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and residents of various care homes. The center distributes these supplies monthly to dozens of beneficiaries throughout the year.

During the activity, the volunteers formed a human chain extending from the street to the fourth floor of the CSC headquarters on Sufyan Street. The scene reflected a strong spirit of cooperation and human solidarity, allowing the work to be completed efficiently while preserving the dignity and privacy of the beneficiaries.

Sanitary pads are an essential daily necessity for many elderly individuals and people with disabilities. However, difficult economic conditions prevent many families from consistently providing them, making the continuation of this free service a humanitarian necessity rather than simply a charitable initiative.

This effort is part of the CSC’s broader humanitarian mission to promote social justice and support vulnerable groups, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to poverty reduction and improved health and social care for marginalized communities.

The CSC praised the important role played by student volunteers and the Al-Khair Forum Committee, emphasizing that the continuation of such efforts reflects a strong and conscious community partnership that believes in every person’s right to live with dignity. The center also called on private sector institutions and community members to expand their support and contributions, especially as the number of people in need continues to grow beyond available resources.
