The Community Service Center, in partnership with the Nablus Directorate of Education, conducted a volunteer agricultural and environmental activity at Beit Dajan Secondary School for Boys. This activity was part of an agricultural and environmental campaign aimed at fostering environmental awareness and promoting a culture of volunteerism among students. The event witnessed active participation from the school’s students, who carried out a thorough cleanup of the school’s back garden, demonstrating a strong sense of social responsibility and awareness of the importance of preserving public property and the school environment.
The activity began with an awareness session that highlighted the importance of public hygiene and environmental preservation. It also emphasized the value of agriculture and students’ connection to the land, while drawing attention to the national and religious symbolism of the olive tree and its role in fostering a sense of belonging and Palestinian identity.
On the agricultural side, participants planted 13 olive trees in the school garden, a symbolic step representing environmental stewardship, resilience, giving, and teamwork.
