The Community Service Center at An-Najah National University has successfully completed the second phase of the tree-planting initiative at Yasser Arafat School in Nablus. This effort is part of the broader campaign titled, “If You Hold a Sapling, Plant It,” which aims to enhance environmental awareness and community engagement among students.

During this phase, female scouts from the school actively participated in planting olive trees alongside the school administration. The activity was designed to teach students about the importance of olive cultivation in Palestinian heritage and to encourage a sense of responsibility for environmental stewardship, both within the school and in their daily lives.

This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to sustainable development and its efforts to engage the younger generation in ecological preservation and community service.
