The Community Service Center at An-Najah National University, in collaboration with the Municipality of Qabalan, has initiated an olive tree planting activity in the gardens of Qabalan Girls' Basic School and Qabalan Boys' Secondary School. This endeavor is part of the university's broader campaign titled, “If You Hold a Sapling, Plant It”. This campaign aims to enhance environmental awareness and community engagement among students.
By involving students directly in the planting process, the initiative seeks to foster a sense of ownership and appreciation for sustainable practices within the school community. The olive
tree, a symbol deeply rooted in Palestinian heritage, serves as a living testament to the community's commitment to environmental stewardship and cultural preservation.
This activity reflects the university's dedication to promoting sustainable development and engaging the younger generation in ecological preservation and community service.
