On December 11, 2024, An-Najah National University’s Community Service Center, in collaboration with the administration of Yasser Arafat School in Nablus, organized a voluntary educational activity to plant olive saplings in the school’s garden. This initiative is part of the university’s broader campaign, “If You Hold a Sapling, Plant It,” which promotes environmental awareness and community engagement among students.
During the activity, students were trained in the proper techniques for planting 24 local olive saplings. This hands-on experience not only helped beautify the school grounds, but also fostered a sense of responsibility and connection to nature. The campaign highlights the importance of environmental stewardship and encourages students to actively participate in sustainable practices.
