The Community Service Center at An-Najah National University has collaborated with Martyrs of Beit Wazan Mixed Secondary School to plant olive saplings in the setback area between the school and the adjacent street. This initiative was made possible through the active participation of the school's Health Committee and Volunteer Work Committee.
This activity aligns with the university's broader environmental outreach efforts, aimed at enhancing green spaces and encouraging environmental responsibility among students. By involving students directly in the planting process, the initiative seeks to foster a sense of ownership and appreciation for sustainable practices within the school community.
The olive tree, a symbol deeply rooted in Palestinian heritage, serves as a living testament to the community's commitment to environmental stewardship and cultural preservation.
This endeavor reflects the university's dedication to promoting sustainable development and engaging the younger generation in ecological preservation and community service.
