The Community Service Center carried out a partial rehabilitation of the premises of the Child Care and Mother Guidance Association’s nursery in Nablus. A number of the association’s main doors were rehabilitated after the need to improve them and raise their quality was identified. The work included the complete replacement of two main aluminum doors, in addition to maintaining three other doors, making them easier to use and enhancing the premises’ suitability to the needs of orphaned children who lack support and a provider.

This initiative is particularly important given the nature of the group served by the association. The nursery cares for orphaned children who have no family or providers, while the association faces limited financial resources and relies largely on modest revenues from the fees of enrolled children and beneficiaries of its services. Amid difficult economic conditions, the ability of such institutions to provide children’s basic needs and maintain an appropriate level of services becomes increasingly challenging.
