The CSC implemented a humanitarian project to rehabilitate the home of a low-income family living in the Old City of Nablus. The work included a range of essential repairs and upgrades, such as treating dampness and wall damage, re-plastering the interior, installing new flooring

tiles, replacing outdated electrical wiring, and installing new windows in place of old, deteriorated ones.

The family consists of four members: an elderly father who suffers from multiple health conditions and is currently unemployed, a mother dealing with spinal issues and osteoporosis, and a son with a physical disability affecting his leg.

They were living in a modest rented home that had significant structural and safety issues. These included damaged interior walls, unsafe electrical wiring, worn-out windows, and broken tiles in the kitchen and living areas that made movement difficult and posed safety risks.

This intervention came at a time of serious financial hardship for the family, limiting their ability to cover even basic needs, including medical expenses. The CSC contributed 3,000 shekels toward the project, and all rehabilitation work was carried out according to professional technical standards as part of the housing rehabilitation program, ensuring a safer and more livable home environment.
