The Housing Rehabilitation Program at the Community Service Center continued its work to improve the sanitary conditions of homes for low-income families and public facilities, thereby enhancing the health and social well-being of residents.

During the 2024–2025 academic year, the program successfully rehabilitated nine homes for underprivileged families, at a total cost of 60,500 shekels. In addition, the program carried out interventions to rehabilitate health units at the National Hospital (54,000 shekels), renovated the mortuary at Rafidia Government Hospital (25,500 shekels), and contributed to the rehabilitation of a children’s park in the Old City (3,800 shekels).

These efforts were funded by the Multaqa Al-Khair Volunteer Committee and university students, who support the Community Service Center by selling charity cards. The Multaqa Al-Khair Committee worked in collaboration with local partners to fund the rehabilitation of these facilities, supporting the program’s mission to benefit the community.

Through these projects, the Housing Rehabilitation Program has not only provided critical support to families in need but also maintained and improved public facilities, contributing to poverty reduction and better health outcomes for the wider community.
