
The Community Service Center organized the regular meeting of the AL-khair Forum Committee, which aimed to discuss the achievements of the center in the past months, and to present a set of proposals by the Good Committee, to be included in the center's work plan during the next phase, and to implement community initiatives targeting marginalized groups in Nablus governorate.

The meeting was opened by Dr. Raed Al-Debai, Assistant to the President of the University for Community Affairs, who extended the university administration's thanks to the Al-Khair Forum for its community role, its contribution to community development, and its direct interaction with the needs of the targeted groups and meeting them in a way that provides an exemplary model for community and humanitarian work.

Mr. Alaa Abu Dhair, Acting Director of the Community Service Center, presented a summary of the performance of the Community Service Center during the past months, and the efforts exerted in implementing the sustainable development goals through the center's various programs.
After that, Engineer Osama Bani Odeh and Afnan Al-Nimr discussed the achievements of the Community Service Center in Arqam. Afnan Al-Nimr discussed the achievements of the Community Service Center in numbers, whether in providing grants and financial loans to students, sponsoring orphans, providing financial allocations for the elderly, social cases and the disabled, rehabilitating the homes of needy families, in addition to environmental and agricultural efforts through the community service course supervised by the center.

Then, Dr. Ihab Hijazi presented a presentation of proposed projects in the field of working with the elderly, and the participants provided interventions, suggestions and recommendations for community initiatives aimed at improving and developing the school environment and developing mechanisms for providing in-kind and financial support to those in need of orphans, the elderly and those with special needs, and the recommendations were discussed and the possibility of applying them according to what the possibilities allow under the circumstances that the Palestinian society is going through.
It is noteworthy that the Committee is a voluntary committee established with the establishment of the center in 1999. The committee provides material, moral and in-kind support to humanitarian cases, and its field of work includes organizing community and awareness activities, and providing basic living needs for humanitarian cases. The work of the committee is considered a pioneering and qualitative experience in voluntary work in the city of Nablus.
