In a demonstration of community spirit and social responsibility, CSC at An-Najah National University carried out a notable environmental and agricultural initiative at Deir Sharaf Secondary School for Girls. This project is part of the university’s broader campaign to raise environmental awareness and support the Sustainable Development Goals.
With eager hands and generous hearts, the students participated in cleaning the school’s backyard and planting ten olive trees. Their efforts transformed the green spaces into a lively and vibrant display of love for the land and a deep connection to nature and the community.
CSC explained that this initiative reflects the university’s approach of combining volunteer work with environmental responsibility. It highlights the importance of community participation and showcases the active role students play in promoting sustainable environmental projects.
The center emphasized that through such activities, the university aims to instill positive environmental habits in students while encouraging them to actively contribute to protecting natural resources and preserving the beauty of their surroundings.
CSC also noted that the campaign will continue with future visits to public gardens and uncultivated lands. The goal is to expand green spaces and further promote environmental awareness throughout the community.
