The Community Service Center (CSC) at the university carried out a notable environmental and agricultural initiative at Hamdi Al-Akkar Boys' Elementary School in Nablus. This activity is part of the university’s ongoing campaign to raise environmental awareness and promote sustainable development within the local community.
Students actively participated in the initiative, helping to clean the school backyard and plant six olive trees on campus. This effort reflected a spirit of cooperation and belonging, while highlighting the importance of preserving school environments and green spaces.
The CSC emphasized that this initiative extends the university’s programs in volunteer work and environmental service. Engaging students in such activities fosters social responsibility and instills the values of giving and active citizenship.
The center further explained that the university prioritizes promoting positive environmental behavior among students through practical initiatives that protect natural resources and enhance the quality of life in the community.
The campaign will continue with upcoming activities and field visits to public parks and uncultivated lands, aiming to expand green spaces and spread the culture of environmental preservation across various segments of society.
