In a step aimed at easing operational expenses on families, the Community Service Center delivered 185 bags of sanitary pads to the Qablan Municipality, to be distributed to 18 beneficiaries among the elderly and persons with disabilities in the town.

This batch comes as part of a monthly assistance program that has been ongoing for more than 10 years in cooperation between the Center and the Municipality, to ensure that these basic supplies reach those who need them on a regular basis.

The program focuses on providing sanitary pads in particular, as they are costly daily necessities that some may feel embarrassed to ask for or be unable to provide consistently. The Municipality and the Center have been keen to deliver them in a way that preserves the privacy and dignity of the residents.
