The CSC, in partnership with the YMCA, carried out a project to rehabilitate the bathroom of a home belonging to a family from the town of Asira al-Shamaliya. The family includes a child who suffers from multiple disabilities caused by cerebral palsy. The rehabilitation aimed to provide a healthier environment tailored to the child’s needs while ensuring safety and dignity within the home.

The project was funded through the CSC Fund, supported by students in the Community Service course through the “Good Deeds Notebooks” initiative. Proceeds from this initiative help support housing improvement programs for families in need. This program is one of the CSC’s most prominent efforts to reduce hardship for vulnerable groups, particularly children, the elderly, and the sick, while enabling them to live in safe and healthy housing.

This intervention demonstrates the CSC’s ongoing commitment to its developmental and humanitarian mission and its continuous effort to improve the quality of life for poor families. It aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals focused on providing decent housing and combating poverty.
