The Community Service Center focused on supporting 145 elderly men and women, including 60 living in nursing homes. Between August 2023 and August 2024, 70 elderly participants received essential supplies, including medications, medical tests, vaccinations, food parcels, diapers, poultry, meat, and olive oil, valued at 7,000 shekels.
The center also provided regular financial assistance to 42 elderly individuals, distributed six times a year, totaling 57,900 shekels.
In addition, the CSC organized 11 activities for the elderly to offer psychological support and relief, with around 50 participants attending each event. The center also prioritized home safety and rehabilitation, renovating four homes at a cost of 21,500 shekels.
Finally, monthly food parcels, including basic food supplies, meat, poultry, vegetables, and fruits, were provided to elderly residents at Mother Teresa’s Convent, with an annual value of 2,400 shekels.
