During the 2024–2025 year, CSC provided 3,480 kilograms of bread, valued at 12,180 shekels, to support ten families daily. This initiative aims to combat poverty and hunger, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, and reflects An-Najah National University’s commitment to social responsibility and strengthening community cohesion.

The center considers providing bread to families in need an essential charitable act. It ensures that basic food needs are met and that recipients can access daily sustenance with minimal difficulty. This support is made possible through initiatives by both individuals and institutions.

For more than ten years, CSC has maintained its bread program with three main goals: to foster social solidarity, to provide an opportunity for donors to contribute, and to recognize bread as one of the most valuable and blessed forms of charity. Many verses of scripture and hadiths encourage feeding others and caring for the poor and needy, a principle reflected in the center’s ongoing work.
