CSC continues its humanitarian mission to care for the elderly through a variety of recreational and interactive programs aimed at providing psychological and social support, ensuring a dignified life filled with love and compassion. The center pays special attention to the elderly, whether they live independently or are cared for by specialized institutions, through regular community initiatives that foster communication and social integration.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society’s nursing home in Nablus is a leading example of humanitarian care, housing twenty elderly residents. The home provides a safe and comfortable environment along with continuous rehabilitation and development programs, including health, social, and awareness services designed to enhance both mental and physical well-being.

The cooperation between the Palestinian Red Crescent Society and CSC has continued for more than twenty years, forming a humanitarian partnership dedicated to improving elderly care. Over the years, the two institutions have organized more than fifty joint activities, including regular visits, shared meals, and events filled with warmth and connection. CSC has also implemented a range of initiatives such as interactive cultural competitions, rose planting, periodic medical check-ups, and storytelling sessions that revive old traditions and memories. These activities have a lasting positive impact, helping restore a sense of belonging and joy among the elderly.

In addition to visits inside the nursing home, CSC organizes external events that take into account the mobility needs of residents. These gatherings bring together elderly individuals from different institutions or those who live alone, encouraging social interaction and human connection.

CSC’s management affirms that its core mission is to promote human communication with the elderly, who represent the memory and foundation of society. The center emphasizes that caring for them is both a humanitarian and social duty that strengthens the values of respect, gratitude, and loyalty between generations.
