CSC, in cooperation with Dar Al-Ataa Association, participated in a cleanup activity on Ahmed Al-Shak’a Street in the city of Nablus. More than 40 students and volunteers took part in removing waste from the sides of the street and cleaning the surrounding areas.

The activity began in the early hours of Saturday, November 18, 2017, with the participation of Ms. Anan Al-Atira, President of Dar Al-Ataa Association, and Mr. Mahmoud Al-Birawi, Director of the Nablus Antiquities Directorate. A team from the Nablus Municipality, headed by Engineer Rima Arafat, also participated. The team visited several buildings on the street and spoke with residents about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness.

Dar Al-Ataa Association contributed by providing students with the necessary tools and equipment to carry out the activity, which led to a noticeable improvement in the cleanliness of the area.

This effort comes in support of the initiatives of the Nablus Municipality and the Follow-up Committee, and within the framework of the Nawaa project, which aims to improve the quality of life and enhance environmental cleanliness in the city of Nablus.

Residents and shop owners expressed their satisfaction with the activity and demonstrated a high level of cooperation with the participating volunteers.
