The CSC organized a volunteer day in the Al-Junaid residential neighborhood near the new campus, in cooperation with volunteers from the Jabal Al-Nar Club and other youth volunteer groups, including the "Tomorrow is Better" group.

Students enrolled in the community service course joined the effort as part of the fieldwork program, which focuses on environmental initiatives.

About seventy volunteers participated in the activity, which involved cleaning waste from the side streets and squares in the area. The Nablus Municipality supported the effort by collecting and removing the bags of waste gathered during the day.

The CSC calls on residents of the neighborhood and the wider community to help maintain cleanliness, protect the environment, and safeguard public health. Proper care of the area prevents pollution that can spread disease and preserves its aesthetic appeal, especially as spring approaches, when Palestine is adorned with greenery and almond blossoms.

Mr. Muhammad Al-Jitan, coordinator of volunteer work at the CSC, emphasized the importance of citizen participation in maintaining neighborhoods, cooperating to protect the environment, and following proper procedures for household waste disposal during these activities.
