The CSC at An-Najah National University organized a campaign to collect children’s toys for the toy shop at An-Najah National University Hospital. The shop serves dozens of children with cancer, as well as many pediatric patients undergoing general surgeries or facing serious illnesses. Since these children often spend weeks or months in treatment, the need for a recreational toy section inside the hospital is urgent.
Mr. Bilal Salameh, the CSC director, along with social workers Mr. Afnan Al-Nimr and Mr. Muhammad Jitan, delivered approximately 500 assorted toys to the toy shop. They were joined by Mr. Sami Sanoubar, coordinator of the hospital’s psychological support unit, who expressed his appreciation for this initiative and noted that it provided the shop with much-needed toys.
Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Barqawi, Medical Director, and Dr. Kamal Hijazi, CEO of the hospital, received the CSC delegation to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation for the benefit of patients. They emphasized the importance of this partnership and the CSC’s vital role in supporting hospital units. The center directs volunteers to donate blood, assist kidney patients, and organize a variety of other supportive activities for patients.
