The CSC at An-Najah National University organized an environmental and agricultural day on the old campus, with the participation of 33 male and female students from the Community Service course. The activity included cleaning the garden next to the playgrounds, where students removed dirt, weeds, and stones. They then manually plowed the land to prepare it for planting before sowing legume seeds in the designated area.

The CSC emphasized that organizing this day aligns with its philosophy that environmental and agricultural work is not limited to production but also includes promoting environmental awareness, agricultural education, and strengthening the connection to the land.

This event supports An-Najah National University’s vision to raise environmental awareness, expand green spaces, and promote afforestation in cooperation with governmental and local authorities. It also reflects the university’s commitment to social responsibility and provides students with practical volunteering opportunities that contribute to protecting the local environment and supporting sustainable development.
