The CSC at the university carried out an environmental and agricultural initiative at Al-Maari Basic School for Boys in Nablus, as part of the university’s campaign to raise environmental awareness and support sustainable development goals, with the participation of a group of volunteers.

The initiative aimed to improve the school environment and promote values of belonging and social responsibility toward nature. Activities included painting the school walls in preparation for awareness drawings for children and planting four olive trees in the school’s green spaces.

The CSC emphasized that the initiative reflects teamwork and youth volunteering, highlighting the university’s commitment to engaging students in sustainable environmental projects that protect nature and promote positive environmental behavior.

The campaign will continue with field visits to public parks and uncultivated government lands, as part of a broader plan to expand green areas and foster a culture of environmental preservation across the community.
