The CSC implemented a comprehensive operational project for a poor family from the town of Sebastia, whose members face economic, health, psychological, and social challenges that have burdened them for years. This intervention reflects a deep humanitarian commitment and the CSC’s dedication to supporting the most vulnerable groups.

The project followed an in-depth assessment of the family’s circumstances and included the provision of construction work equipment, such as a masonry set, a concrete mixer, a large drill, a small drill, and a compressor. The goal was to enable the family’s unemployed eldest son to establish a stable source of income, allowing him to support his family and meet their basic needs with dignity.

The project was funded through the CSC Fund and supported by contributions from students in the Community Service course through the “Books of Goodness” initiative, which demonstrates the ability of young people to turn simple efforts into meaningful humanitarian impact. Proceeds from this initiative help strengthen the CSC’s programs and support the most vulnerable

segments of society.

This initiative highlights the CSC’s ongoing commitment to its developmental and humanitarian mission through projects that improve the quality of life for marginalized families. It also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals by promoting job opportunities, combating poverty, and supporting social security.
