The CSC at the university implemented an environmental and agricultural initiative at Abdul Latif Hawash Basic School for Girls in Nablus as part of the university’s ongoing campaign to raise environmental awareness and support sustainable development goals.

Several schoolgirls and members of the scouting team participated in the initiative, which included cleaning the school’s backyard and planting four olive trees in the green areas on campus. These efforts aim to improve the school environment and promote values of belonging, responsibility, and care for the community and nature.

The CSC explained that this initiative continues the university’s programs designed to integrate volunteer work with environmental responsibility. It reflects the spirit of community participation and highlights the importance of engaging students in sustainable environmental activities.

The CSC emphasized that through such initiatives, the university seeks to instill positive environmental behavior and involve students in practical efforts that contribute to protecting natural resources and preserving the beauty of the local environment.

The CSC also noted that the campaign will continue in the coming period with field visits to public parks and uncultivated government lands to expand green areas and enhance environmental awareness among different segments of society.
