The monthly “Golden Age Forum” meeting was held for elderly participants in the CSC program and their friends to celebrate Mother’s Day in March, a special occasion to honor mothers and fathers and express love, appreciation, and gratitude for their lifelong dedication and generosity.
The event was organized by the Goodness Forum Volunteer Committee at the CSC, which funds these activities, and took place at the Holy Land Restaurant in Sebastia on a bright spring day. The program included competitions, prizes, entertainment segments, poetry recitations, and religious talks. Guests also enjoyed a meal of Musakhan with dessert, and discussions highlighted moral values such as forgiveness and cooperation.
Around 120 people attended, including over 100 elderly participants registered in the CSC program, as well as friends from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society and the Cultural and Social Association.
During the celebration, Rajaa Al-Bawab, Coordinator of the Elderly Program, was honored on the initiative of the Goodness Forum Committee. CSC Director Mr. Bilal Salama expressed his gratitude to the committee for their continuous support and dedication to community and humanitarian work. He also extended congratulations to the elderly participants and all involved institutions, including the Social Affairs Department, Red Crescent, and Cultural and Social Association.
