The Housing Rehabilitation Program, one of the main programs of the Community Service Center, continued its intervention and rehabilitation work to improve the health and social conditions of a number of low-income families in the city of Nablus and the surrounding residential areas... During the past period, many cases were completed with generous funding from donors who are friends of the center, in addition to the income provided by the charity card, which university students and professors contribute to by purchasing it to support the center's various programs, and in partnership and cooperation with a number of local entities to complete these cases. There were four cases, as follows

Case (C.S.) in the Old City had a work injury that left him bedridden and unable to go to the toilet and use it because it was an Arab toilet due to his health condition. The program intervened by rehabilitating the toilet and installing a Western-style toilet to suit his health condition.

Another case that stood out was that of (M.A.) in the New Askar camp, a poor family of five living in a simple house. This house was burned down, damaging the aluminum windows, furniture, and paint. The program supported this case by installing aluminum windows in the house to protect the family from the winter cold. Other local entities helped the family by painting the house and rehabilitating the electrical wiring.

Case (M.N.) is the head of a poor family in the town of Meithlon consisting of eight members. They live in a modest house that lacks the minimum sanitary conditions for dignified living. The windows of this house are old and worn out, and the bathroom and kitchen, located on the upper floor of the house, are in very poor condition. Through its charity cards, the program worked to install new aluminum windows to replace the old ones. With the support of charitable people, the program contributed to the construction of a new bathroom and kitchen inside the house.

The case of (S.A.), a woman who supports a family of seven, living in a simple house consisting of two rooms and a bathroom in poor condition, with one of the rooms being used as a kitchen. With the support of the local community, the program contributed to the construction of a new kitchen separate from the rooms to provide this family with more space in the room.

In addition, there are many cases in which the center provided consultation and engineering follow-up for the intervention work.

Program coordinator Osama Bani Odeh expressed his appreciation and gratitude to those who contributed and participated in the completion of these cases, whether through material or moral efforts, especially the students of the community service course who support the center by marketing charity cards to finance the center's activities, particularly the housing rehabilitation program for poor families, which works to improve the living and health conditions of low-income families by improving and rehabilitating housing facilities.
