With a spirit of giving and responsibility, the CSC carried out an environmental field activity on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Qudri Touqan Secondary School for Boys as part of the university’s agricultural campaign to raise environmental awareness and support sustainable development goals.
The event aimed to improve the school environment and instill values of belonging and nature conservation. It began with an awareness lecture discussing the importance of agriculture in daily life and the role of the olive tree in maintaining ecological balance, as well as highlighting its economic and cultural significance in Palestinian society.
After the lecture, students and volunteers participated in cleaning the school’s backyard and collecting waste before planting 15 olive trees. This initiative reflects teamwork and underscores the importance of youth involvement in environmental protection.
The CSC emphasized that this activity is part of a series of efforts to expand green spaces in schools and public areas. The campaign will continue in the coming period with field visits to public parks and government lands that lack trees.
Through these efforts, the CSC aims to promote environmental sustainability and instill a culture of protecting natural resources, in line with the university’s vision to prepare a conscious and responsible generation dedicated to building a greener and cleaner future.
