Amid the challenges facing the homeland, the CSC sought to bring joy to its elderly friends, who are part of the center’s program for seniors, including participants from the Red Crescent Society House and the House of Harmony and Love affiliated with the Cultural and Social Association. The celebration marked the International Day of Older Persons, coinciding with the beginning of the blessed Hijri year.

The event was held at Palestine Park in Wadi Al-Badhan, where CSC staff and volunteers from the Goodness Forum Committee provided hospitality, including a hot meal and sweets donated by the Nablus Zakat Committee through volunteer Imad Al-Laham. The day also featured entertainment activities for the elderly, including light games, puzzles, and music.

Rajaa Al-Bawab, Coordinator of the Elderly Program at the CSC, expressed her sincere gratitude to the generous donors and volunteers of the Goodness Forum Committee, the primary body supporting community activities for the elderly. She congratulated the seniors on their special day and emphasized that caring for the elderly is a social duty in recognition of their contributions and ongoing support to their children and grandchildren.
