Tree Planting Campaign Promotes Environmental Sustainability at Tal Secondary School for Girls
CSC organized a field activity at Tal Secondary School for Girls that included cleaning the schoolyard, collecting waste, and planting twenty olive trees in the school garden. The activity began with an awareness lecture for students on the importance of agriculture and environmental conservation, emphasizing the value of olive trees and the future economic benefits the school will gain from olive harvesting.
This initiative is part of the university’s agriculture campaign, which aims to expand green spaces and protect the environment and climate in line with sustainable development goals, particularly the preservation of wildlife and the mitigation of climate change.
The campaign will continue in the coming period to include a greater number of treeless public lands and school gardens, with the goal of promoting environmental and community sustainability and creating a healthy, clean environment for future generations.
