The CSC, in cooperation with Nablus Municipality, organized an environmental field activity at the entrance of the new “Academy” campus, with active participation from students enrolled in the Community Service course. This initiative reflects the commitment of both the university and the municipality to their social and environmental responsibilities.
Twenty-nine male and female students participated, starting from the vehicle entrance of the campus. They were divided into work groups to clean sidewalks and surrounding roads, remove dust and waste from the campus fence area, and clear the street median. Municipality teams also contributed by painting sidewalks and trimming trees as part of a plan covering the campus frontage up to the Korean Institute.
The event began with a motivational session featuring speeches that highlighted the importance of volunteer work, caring for the university environment, and fostering a sense of belonging and giving among students, demonstrating values of social responsibility and environmental awareness.
The CSC confirmed that this event is part of a series of activities planned for the semester, supporting the university’s vision to strengthen partnerships with local institutions and promote a culture of environmental volunteerism, aligned with sustainable development goals related to environmental protection and cultivating an engaged and responsible university community.
