The CSC, in collaboration with the Nablus Municipality Fire Department, concluded a firefighting, rescue, and public safety course with the participation of 46 students. The course focused on how to respond when a fire occurs, the principles of ignition and extinguishing, types of fires and methods of suppression, preventive safety measures to avoid fires, and the fundamentals of safe evacuation and descent.

The training aimed to enhance students’ emergency response skills. It included practical exercises at the Nablus Municipality Fire Department, where participants practiced firefighting techniques, rescuing injured individuals, and safely descending from rooftops and windows.

During the field training, students were introduced to fire trucks and their specialized functions, fire and rescue equipment, and the operations room where emergency reports are received. Under the supervision of Issam Salim, the Training Coordinator at the Nablus Municipality Fire Brigade, students practiced responding to traffic accident injuries, using handheld extinguishers on controlled liquid fires, and performing rope descent exercises.
