The Housing Rehabilitation Program, in partnership with the Community Committee Association in the Nablus Governorate, has completed roof insulation work for a needy family in the Old City of Nablus. The family’s home had suffered from rainwater leaking through the roof into the rooms, causing health problems for the residents.
The project involved insulating the roof with asphalt rolls following proper procedures to prevent future leaks. The modest house is home to a woman and her elderly mother.
We extend our gratitude for the support of this project and look forward to continued collaboration in rehabilitating and maintaining the homes of other families in need.
This initiative is part of CSC and the Community Committee Association’s ongoing efforts to achieve the sustainable development goals adopted by An-Najah National University, particularly those related to good health. The Housing Rehabilitation Program works to make homes safe and healthy for marginalized families, ensuring they live in a suitable and supportive environment.
