The Housing Rehabilitation Program has completed the rehabilitation of a poor family's home in the town of Qablan in partnership with the Municipality of Qablan, as part of an OFID grant and funding from the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development. The rehabilitation work included the construction of a new room for the family and the rehabilitation of the kitchen and bathroom.

Program coordinator Osama Bani Odeh noted that this case is one of many success stories achieved by the Housing Rehabilitation Program over the past 13 years. He added that the program has so far completed the rehabilitation of 45 cases (including five schools). in partnership with local and international institutions in the villages of the Nablus governorate, with a grant from OFID and funding from the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development. The grant includes ten awareness and educational courses and the organization of 20 recreational activities and trips for children in the supportive education program in the villages of the Nablus governorate.

The housing rehabilitation program aims to improve the living conditions of poor families registered with social services and to emphasize human rights related to access to adequate housing.

It is worth mentioning that the Housing Rehabilitation Program team consists of program coordinator Walaa Kilani and social researchers Rana Awad and Bahij Nassar.
