As part of the psychosocial support program organized by the CSC, a games and entertainment room was opened for children receiving treatment in the dialysis and oncology departments. This initiative was carried out in cooperation with the American Corner at An-Najah National University, which collected donations from its supporters, and with the support of the CSC’s Goodness Forum Committee.

The opening ceremony was attended by the American Cultural Consul in Jerusalem, Professor Salim Al-Hajj Yahya, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and Hospital Director Dr. Saed Al-Koni, Vice President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Bilal Salameh, Director of the CSC, as well as CSC staff and volunteers from the Charity Forum Committee.

The event included speeches from representatives of the participating organizations, as well as a heartfelt speech from Sama Al-Akhras, a child receiving treatment in the hospital’s oncology department.

Dina Al-Qaddumi, coordinator of the psychosocial support program, described the opening as an important step in providing a supportive environment for sick children. Professor Bilal Salameh highlighted that the CSC’s psychosocial support program was established years ago to meet this essential need alongside the medical care provided by hospitals. He also expressed his gratitude to all donors who contributed to this humanitarian initiative.
