The Community Service Center organized an artistic volunteer activity to beautify and decorate the walls and fences of the Child Care and Mother Guidance Association’s nursery, with notable participation from students and volunteers in the Community Service course. The activity included drawing and coloring meaningful murals and beloved cartoon characters for children. The volunteers’ hands creatively sketched and colored various drawings, including famous cartoon characters such as (The Smurfs, Tweety, and Winnie the Pooh), as well as cheerful childlike and educational drawings that enhance imagination and bring vitality to the place, such as (the colorful worm for numbers and letters, balloons, and the shining sun).
This initiative comes as part of ongoing efforts to bring an atmosphere of joy and happiness to the environment surrounding the children. It is worth noting that the nursery cares for orphaned children under five years of age and is committed to providing a safe and suitable environment that offers them the care and support necessary for their growth and development in a positive atmosphere.
This activity embodied community partnership and volunteer work, as the students contributed their time and artistic talents to transform the nursery’s courtyards and walls into a more beautiful, vibrant space that engages with the children’s imagination.
