The community service center carried out a humanitarian intervention to rehabilitate a house that was severely damaged by a fire that broke out in the home of a family from the city of Nablus. The rehabilitation included treating the walls, redoing plastering and tiling, replacing burnt electrical wiring and installing new lighting units, in addition to installing a new door, window, and external protection, thereby ensuring the safety of family members and providing them with a more secure residential environment.

The fire had caused extensive damage to the house, including damage to plaster and tiles, burning parts of the electrical network, and damage to one of the doors and windows, in addition to burning the external door and external protection. Smoke also covered the walls of the house entirely, leaving traces that reflected the scale of the disaster experienced by the family and exacerbated their health suffering, especially with the difficulty of breathing caused by smoke residue.

This intervention comes as part of the center’s mission of rapid response to families facing emergency circumstances that require relief and community solidarity, as well as providing a safe and decent living environment that preserves the dignity of families in need and enhances their stability.
