
Achievements of the community service center throughout the academic years 2023-2024
Good deeds committee
- The supportive education program:
Providing assisted education for 150 children.
Psychological and Social Support:
Recreational and medical activities were organized for sick children with 110 volunteers.
Organizing 3 school meetings to enhance self- confidence for 100 students.
- Housing rehabilitation:
Rehabilitation 25 houses including rooms and sanitary facilities that costed 151257 shekels.
- Orphans' sponsorship:
119 orphans were sponsored at a cost of 242400 shekels.
The community service center has done a variety of programs, in line with the international goals for the sustainable development, during the period between august 2023 and august 2024, including:
- The community service course:
6047 units of blood were donated.
4020 students volunteered in community institutions.
450 students participated in 21 field volunteer activities.
Printing 30 books for blind students and converting them into books.
The students of the community service class provided and delivered 280 pieces of clothing.
- Open door program:
Distributing 3600 kg of bread at a cost of 12600 shekels.
Helping 90 Case of in-kind needs at a total cost of 6500 shekels.
120 people in need were given cash assistance.
Providing 1500 packs of diapers for people with disabilities and the elderly.
Delivering 260 food stamps and 75 food parcels for people in need at a cost of 33500 shekels.
Distributing 85 food stamps for the students that are included in the Alsheikh Zaide center that costed 4250 shekels.
Helping 45 medical tests, X-rays, medications, and physical therapy sessions valued at 11250 shekels.
Offering 600 partial scholarships for An-Najah National University students with a value of 477000 shekels.
Delivering 250 school uniforms, back bags, and coats for several schools.
- Working with the elderly people:
Providing 70 elderly people with basic needs with 7000 shekels.
Sponsoring 42 elderly individuals in a total of 57900 shekels.
Providing monthly food parcels for the elderly residents of Mother Teresa’s monastery at a cost of 2400 shekels.
