Introduction
The environment is the place where individuals live and conduct their daily lives; it is like the home where they reside. It is also humanity's only friend—if we treat it well, use it responsibly, and care for it, it will provide us with many benefits.
Therefore, maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the environment is crucial for the overall health of the community, and this is a shared responsibility. Every individual should contribute to keeping their surrounding environment clean. If everyone plays their part in preserving the environment, our world will be more beautiful and clean.
Our environment and resources are not our property but rather a trust given to us. We all have a duty to care for and protect them, ensuring they are handed over intact to future generations.
To enhance this commitment, we introduce the "My Environment, My Home" program, which is one of the Community Service Center's initiatives. The program aims to:
- Enhance Environmental Awareness: Deepen citizens' understanding of the importance of preserving the environment through education and awareness.
- Promote Volunteering: Encourage volunteer work and community involvement to raise awareness of a healthy environment.
- Organize Volunteer Campaigns and Programs: Conduct volunteer campaigns including street and public area clean-ups, maintenance of waste containers, and tree care and planting. Additionally, implement activities that engage the local community in environmental preservation.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Emphasize the importance of cleaning streets and public areas, maintaining waste containers, and ensuring public spaces are free from litter.
- Tree Planting and Care: Organize tree planting campaigns and ensure their care to promote growth, protect the environment, and enhance aesthetic value.
- Sustainability of Efforts: Ensure ongoing efforts to maintain and protect the environment through sustainable programs and continuous community collaboration.
